Thank you for sharing invaluable resources <3 You don't have to be perfect in your practice as long as you're consistent in making time for your Me Time. Personally, I call my mat My Sanctuary :)

Thank you Lisa! That's so well put. Oh I LOVE that about physically zoning with your yoga mat – that's such a great tip! x

I loved this nuanced overview of meditation, and was the kick up the backside I needed to get back to practising it. I’m also a huge fan of the soundscapes in Calm for some comforting background noise every now and then. Great for when you know silence might start to get your thoughts talking and spiralling, but you can’t meditate right that moment.

Thank you Caitlin! So glad you enjoyed it, there were so many resources around meditation... which was good in a way, but it can be overwhelming when there's so much to cover. Funnily enough, I hadn't even thought to use CALM in that way and I've got an annual subscription (I'm sure a few on here have signed up and would benefit from this extra tip), so thank you! Also a nice idea to get to a more 'meditative' state without classically meditating. There is something very special about the default CALM soundscape with the gentle stream... I wonder where they set it, I imagine Switzerland or something. x

No problem at all! The soundscapes are also great for helping me to focus when working or writing too, especially the coffee shop one strangely. The default Jasper Lake scene is definitely one of my favourites too - I was thinking maybe Canada? x
